Our new order list for delivery week ending 23 November 2008 is now open at www.organicbuyers.com and will remain open for ordering until 12 noon on Tuesday 18 November.
With Christmas approaching Certified Organic Free Range Whole Turkeys are now available for pre-order with deferred delivery being in the week ending 21 December. We have secured a large allocation of Turkeys from the grower however once it is filled, orders will have to close. Pre-order your preferred size now and we will do our best to supply as close to that range as possible.
More quality products from Artisse Organics have now arrived: tasty Spice Rubs for Chicken, Fish and Meat are very quick to apply before baking, grilling or BBQ but can transform the ordinary into the exotic (listed under their own sub heading in the "Spices" section of the list) and delicious wafer products - Hazlenut Praline Creme Wafer Rolls and Milk Chocolate Wafer Squares (listed under "Biscuits" on the list)
In Fruit & Veg, the first Organic Cherries of the season come in this week with an advance sample from a NSW grower already received going through rigorous taste testing - and very nice and sweet they were, too. However, still to come - but expected in later this week - are the first harvest of a premium Cherry variety from a South Australian grower well known for having what many declare to be the best Cherries in the market. This grower will harvest several different varieties beween now and Christmas with all being premium fruit.
Paw Paw have become a bit elusive lately and we hope this week will see better supply. Carrots are very scarce with some growers in between harvests. Broad Beans should be back this week along with Red Cabbage. Sweet Corn is becoming more plentiful.
